    what a great idea elke!

i don't have a basket yet, but i would put in L'Oreal True Match foundation, redpoint noc-out concealer, a loose transclucent powder, redpoint blush whip, CG LashBlast mascara, a brown wet n wild eyeliner, anastastia go brow, a revlon color stay eyeshadow quad, Bobbi Brown lipstick and clinique superbalm lipgloss... in my smaller basket, i would put some of my electro flash and sonic chic products from MAC...:)

That's a great idea! Now if I can get some small deep baskets I can change up every weekend like you said. I'm sure I can find something. Thanks for the great tip!!

Fabulous idea, Elke. I have the one-basket trick, (which is overflowing, by the way) but I never thought about the additional basket, although I did read that hunting for lipstick, for instance, in your handbag builds new neurons. I think I have built enough neurons hunting for my makeup in the one baset! I'm going to buy another basket today.

    Thanks!

The basket is a great idea. It keeps all your favourite products from getting lost under plies of other makeup, and its also prevents clutter, especially if you have a small space.

What another great idea to organize makeup. I also noticed that fishing for a lipstick or eyeshadow I want to wear was time consuming due to my makeup clutter. I got so much that one day, I researched for makeup life spans in the internet, and throw away those that are considered "expired". And then donated those eye palettes and nail colors that are still considered good but "am not interested to use again" to willing recipients. That instantly halved my makeup clutter.
